How To Download, Install, and Register Windows Software

Part A - Download and Install

These step-by-step instructions show you how to download and install our Windows-based software. The example in the pictures is the Training Officer Toolkit (which includes quizzes such as EMT-B, Firefighter, Paramedic, etc.) but applies to all our Windows products

  1. Click on the download link in your web browser.
  2. You will be prompted to "Run" or "Save" the file. Choose "Run"
  3. After the file is downloaded, you may get another security message asking you to confirm "Run" or "Don't Run". Choose "Run"
  4. The required files need to be decompressed, and saved to your computer. You will be asked where you want to save the new folder. The default location of Desktop is fine, so click "OK".
  5. Your software has now been downloaded and saved. You may close your web browser window, and take a look where you saved the new folder (the default location is on the desktop as shown here). Depending on exactly what you downloaded, the new folder will be named "Pocket Mobility" or "Training".
